ZIPPY Cottage extended

Zippy and his family are possibly the nicest people you are likely to meet and would do anything to help anybody and are unfortunately in a horrible situation with the council and need help themselves. A situation has arisen in which Zippy has restored a 200 year old house on his land which has now become the family home and due to a TECHNICALITY in the planning law despite going through the correct planning channels the family have been lead into a political planning trap. This has resulted in an endless planning battle to save the house from demolition. Despite the support of every single person from the village, bar two selfish neighbours, the parish council and numerous officials the demolition order still stands but the fight continues. This is a very short edit I have made with some of the footage I have filmed to create a short documentary telling the story of the family?s struggle. This is more of an edit to emphasize the family?s good times at the house and what a warm home they have actually created for themselves in this otherwise derelict area. Watch this and show your support here. www.helpsavezippyandkerryshome.webs.com

Get in the real world TDC. This cottage is perfect for the village and it's lovely people. Why make 2 people homeless when all they did was RENOVATE a cottage to improve the area. This is village history not just some builder bribing the Council. The Council oversaw the project so in our opinion are guilty of misleading, entrapment and wasting public funds. KEEP THE COTTAGE. Good luck to Zippy and his family.

This is typical of Tendring District Council and the 'out of the real world' pen pushers. As a tax payer I am disgusted with the cost implications of this case and the 'Bloody mindedness' of the TDC Staff. This cottage MUST STAY because it formed part of the village history and it is home to a very special couple who have demonstrated that culture can be preserved by people willing to preserve it. I suggest taking this the whole way and go to the media nationally. TDC should hold there head down in shame. What a lovely cottage which fits in with the village and provides a home for a local care worker and her hard working partner. The Village want it kept, most of Tendring want it kept. KEEP IT

Save this lovely renovated cottage,it seems so unnecesary to make this well thought of family homeless , The village should be listened to.
